In the 1960s, two students meet at Cambridge – one is Jane Wilde (Jones), who is studying literature, and the other is Stephen Hawking (Redmayne), a physics major. Their relationship grows stronger as their time at the university goes by, but it starts to become complicated when Hawking starts to show signs of motor neurone disease…
