WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
Playwright Alan Bennett (Jennings) crosses paths with Miss Mary Shepherd (Smith), an eccentric homeless woman, and allows her to temporarily park her dilapidated car in his driveway, until she sorts things out. Unfortunately for Alan, and his family and friends, Miss Shepherd lives there for the next fifteen years…
