WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
During the last few weeks of the Second World War, teenage German army deserter Willi Herold (Hubacher) finds an abandoned Nazi captain uniform which he wears to avoid execution. Emboldened by the power his uniform now brings him, he invents a secret mission from the Führer that leads him and the men following him on a crusade of terror and sadism…
IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?
Director Robert Schwentke passes the time until he can make that Divergent series conclusion that’s totally never going to happen by bringing to light the story of a true Nazi terror in the final days of the Second World War.
