WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
After experiencing a particularly bad day – losing her job and catching her husband with another woman – Tammy (McCarthy) decides to hit the road but lacks the money and car to do so. Her only option turns out to be her alcoholic grandmother Pearl (Sarandon), who has everything that Tammy needs but also requires someone to “babysit” her due to her destructive behaviour. As it turns out, driving with Pearl just might be what Tammy needs in her life…
