WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
Child prodigy and inventor T.S. Spivet (Catlett) lives on a ranch with his beetle-obsessed mother (Carter), his cowboy father (Rennie) and his fame-seeking older sister (Wilson). One day, he receives a call from the Smithsonian museum informing him that he is the latest recipient of a prestigious prize for one of his inventions, and is invited to a reception in his honour. Without telling his family, T.S. heads on a freight train across the United States to Washington D.C…
