WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1987, five young men – Ice Cube (Jackson Jr.), Dr Dre (Hawkins), Eazy-E (Mitchell), DJ Yella (Brown Jr.) and MC Ren (Hodge) – vent their frustration and anger about living in their dangerous neighbourhood by injecting brutally honest rhymes and hardcore beats into a collection of music. They eventually form the N.W.A, which would go on to ignite a social revolution with their lyrics, bravado and disregard for authority…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

The story of one of the most influential rap groups in history is told in spectacularly dramatic fashion, whilst also serving as a reminder of the N.W.A’s powerful reputation as voices of their generation.
