WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Lauren (Noone) and Kell (McGuigan) are inseparable sisters living in a small town on the Irish border, whose lives are shattered by the sudden death of their mother, and later Kelly’s sudden disappearance. However, when Kelly resurfaces after a year of being reported missing, Lauren is forced to confront her family’s dark past as their sisterhood is reignited amidst rumours spreading across the town…

Filmmaker Cathy Brady makes her remarkable feature debut with an intimate and grounded tale of sisterly bonds and dark secrets, though it is also a bittersweet outing for it marks the final role of lead actress Nika McGuigan, who sadly passed away from leukaemia in 2019.
