WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

After thirty years of service, test pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Cruise) has purposefully dodged an advancement in his rank in order to continue flying. Soon, he is ordered to return to his former Navy training grounds, where he is placed in charge of a group of young Top Gun graduates, who must be trained for a specialised, but dangerous, mission. Maverick attempts to whip the new pilots in shape despite the animosity from graduate Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Teller), who happens to be the son of Maverick’s fallen comrade Nick “Goose” Bradshaw…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Tom Cruise returns to one of his most iconic roles in this highly-anticipated sequel to the 80s cultural phenomenon, and it’s bound to be a real experience for audiences for parts of the film were shot on IMAX inside of real-life fighter jets in flight (because it wouldn’t be a Tom Cruise movie without some kind of amazing, death-defying stunt!).
