WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Rob (Convery), a 12-year-old boy living in a Florida motel with his father (Trammell), discovers a tiger in the woods, which has been caged up by motel owner Beauchamp (Quaid). The encounter causes Rob’s imagination to soar, and with the help of stubborn classmate Sistine (Mills) and wise motel maid Willie May (Latifah), he sets in motion a plan to free the tiger from its captivity.
