WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
In 1893, heavily-pregnant Molly Johnson (Purcell) and her children struggle to survive within the harsh Australian landscape after her husband leaves to drove sheep across the country. One day, she finds a wounded Indigenous Australian convict named Yadaka (Collins) on her property, and forms an unlikely bond with him after she takes him in. However, when the town’s new lawman Klintoff (Reid) begins to investigate, Molly will do whatever it takes to protect her family, her land, and her new friend from harm…
