WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Lucky (Merced), a free-spirited young girl, moves away from the big city with her aunt Cora (Moore) to a small frontier town, where Lucky’s father Jim (Gyllenhaal) also lives. After coming across a wild stallion named Spirit, and befriending local girls Pru (Martin) and Abigail (Grace), Lucky becomes more accepting of her new surroundings, but when horse wrangler Hendricks (Goggins) tries to capture Spirit and his herd of horses, she and her new friends must set out to save them…

Both a standalone sequel to the underrated DreamWorks animated movie Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and a feature spin-off of the hit Netflix children’s show based on said film, this is an expansive and emotional family film for horse lovers of all ages.
