WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Gerry (Mendelsohn), a talented but struggling gambler, is on the verge of being consumed by his habit and his various debts to several people. Upon chance, he comes across the charismatic Curtis (Reynolds) and, sensing a bout of luck in this young man, convinces him to join him on the road to Mississippi for a legendary high stakes poker game. On their travels, both men develop an undeniable bond between each other which doesn’t entirely have to do with luck…
