WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
Recently separated from her husband Austen (Sheen), Alice Kinney (Witherspoon) decides to move back to her hometown of Los Angeles with her two young daughters, but finds herself struggling to get her designer career off the ground whilst looking after her children. On a night out for her 40th birthday, she meets three young filmmakers (Wolff, Alexander and Rudnitsky) who she spontaneously decides to take in while they try and make it in Hollywood, which sparks an unconventional journey of self-discovery…
