WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
Lazzaro (Tardiolo) is a young and good-hearted peasant who befriends Tancredi (Tardiolo), an imaginative nobleman and the son of landowner Alfonsina de Luna (Braschi) who Lazzaro dutifully works for. Together, they hatch a plan to fake Tancredi’s kidnapping and soon escape into the wilderness, which leads them both on an adventure that is as surprising as it is unpredictable…
