WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Along the beaches of the Baywatch community, Mitch Buchannon (Johnson), the leader of the beach’s lifeguard squad, butts head with the newest recruit, arrogant former athlete Matt Brody (Efron) who’s been brought in to be the new face of the organisation. They must put their differences aside, however, and work as a team when a dead body washes up onto the shore, which leads to them uncovering a sinister drug trafficking operation…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

The second comedic adaptation of a popular TV show this year – after the abysmal CHiPS back in March – looks to be a genuine laugh riot and a great chance for Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron to work wonders together on-screen (and either way, it will hopefully be better than CHiPS).
