WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
In 1983, young couple Tami Oldham (Woodley) and Richard Sharp (Claflin) decide to set sail together in a 44-foot yacht from Tahiti to San Diego, but shortly into their voyage they are caught up in Hurricane Raymond, one of the most catastrophic hurricanes ever recorded. Although their boat is left in ruins, and they have no way of contacting anyone for help, Tami and Richard are left with little choice but to keep sailing if they are to survive being trapped in the middle of the ocean…
