WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

It’s the 1970s, and teenager Jeffrey Dahmer (Lynch) is an awkward high school outcast, with a troubled family life and an unhealthy obsession with collecting roadkill as well as a stern fixation on a neighbourhood jogger (Kartheiser). When he begins acting out at school, he earns the attention and appreciation of a group of geeky outcasts who form the “Dahmer Fan Club”, led by aspiring graphic artist John “Derf” Backderf (Wolff). However, it’s not enough to keep Dahmer from spiralling further into madness and into much more dangerous territory…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Disney Channel star Ross Lynch – last seen headlining the woeful Status Update – gives a chilling performance as the young version of one of America’s most notorious serial killers.
