During one taping, Lee is suddenly held hostage by a gun-wielding viewer, Kyle Budwell (O’Connell), who claims to have lost all his money after following Lee’s advice. He is forced to investigate the fraudulent activity while wearing a bomb vest, and as new information comes to light it turns out that Kyle may have been legitimately wronged and that there may be a much bigger conspiracy going on in Wall Street…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Jodie Foster is back in the director’s chair for a real-time thriller that raises some major questions about the power of media and the dodgy goings-on behind closed doors in America’s most popular financial district.
