WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

An optimistic albeit inept alien race known as the Boov, led by Captain Smek (Martin), manage to successfully invade Earth and declare it their new home and hiding place from their mortal enemy, moving humans to a desert planet in the process. One human, a teenager named Tip (Rihanna), manages to escape the transportation and attempts to survive alone – until she comes across a banished Boov named Oh (Parsons), who may have accidentally transmitted his whereabouts to the enemy…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Another colourful entry into DreamWorks Animation’s catalogue of high-standard films, though Home should definitely please its younger viewers more with its bright animation and funny humour.
