WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Nadine (Steinfeld) is a high school junior who is finding it difficult to overcome her initial awkwardness and insecurity, something that is intensified when she discovers that her best friend Krista (Richardson) is dating her older brother Darian (Jenner). Feeling more alone than ever, she soon finds that a friendship with an equally awkward but thoughtful boy (Szeto) might bring her out of her own sense of self-doubt, and help her learn to appreciate her flawed but comfortable life…
