WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
Marcello (Fonte) is a gentle small-time dog groomer who wants to fund a lifestyle that can allow him to care for his dogs and his daughter Alida (Calabria). To do this, he runs a side business with more unpleasant clientele, and it is through this profession that he develops a dangerous relationship of subjugation with Simonchino (Pesce), a violent boxer that terrorises the neighbourhood and exploits Marcello a little too much, leading to Marcello making a crucial decision to try and regain his dignity…
