WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Robin (Wright) is a Hollywood actress with a difficult reputation, so much so that her offers of film roles have dried up. She is soon approached by a film studio with an interesting proposition: she will have her body digitally scanned so that filmmakers can use her likeness for whatever project they want, in exchange for a hefty amount of money and the promise that she will never act again – a decision she may end up regretting many years later…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

After dazzling audiences with his innovative animated documentary Waltz With Bashir, filmmaker Ari Folman returns with an original and intriguing narrative piece that satirises both the Hollywood system and the vain desires for eternal youth.
