WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Steve Rogers/Captain America (Evans) and his new team of Avengers are involved in yet another international incident, leading to the government forming the Sokovia Accords, a system of accountability and governing body that determines when to send in the superheroes to save the day. When Rogers tries to protect his former friend Bucky Barnes (Stan), reborn as the brainwashed assassin known as the Winter Soldier, from the wrath of the Accords, it puts him in conflict with Tony Stark/Iron Man (Downey Jr.) and leads to the division of the Avengers – one side led by Rogers, which opposes the government interference, and the other led by Stark, which supports it – and an all-out war between the former allies…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

The third in the Captain America series not only promises to be the biggest Marvel film to date – with the inclusion of old favourites like Iron Man, Black Widow and Ant-Man as well as new faces like Black Panther and, most excitingly, the new incarnation of Spider-Man (!) – but also perhaps the best.
