The powerful war titan Thanos (Brolin) is roaming the universe in search of the highly coveted Infinity Stones, with which he can conquer the universe and destroy anyone and anything that stands in his way. Meanwhile, the Avengers are now a fractured unit as a result of the feud between Tony Stark/Iron Man (Downey Jr) and Steve Rogers/Captain America (Evans), but when Thanos begins his descent on Earth, the heroes must find a way to combat the seemingly indestructible threat in ways that will see them team up with other heroes across the universe, from the mystical Doctor Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch) to the noble King T’Challa (Boseman) to the Guardians of the Galaxy, including Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Pratt), all of whom engage in a battle that will test each and every one of them unlike anything they’ve encountered before…
IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been building to this one event since the first Iron Man film debuted ten years ago, and pretty much everything from the epic action and groundbreaking visual effects to the mega-sized cast that’s quite possibly the largest ever assembled for a major movie seems to suggest that the decade-long build-up will be absolutely worth it.
