WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Michael Stone (Thewlis), an author who specialises in customer service, is unable to interact or connect with other people, leading to him having a warped view of the world that isolates himself from everyone else. However, on a business trip, he meets a woman named Lisa (Leigh) who slowly helps him change his overview of the world and possibly change his mundane life…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

An extraordinary work of stop-motion animation from the mind that brought us Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Being John Malkovich, Anomalisa is an odd but uplifting film about the human soul that deserves to be seen by any Kaufman or animation aficionados.
